This is it... the 2012 Off-Centered Film Fest is upon us once again! We've teamed up with the fantastic folks at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to put together our annual film competition. This year, it will culminate in a three-night fun, funky festivity of film and beer in the great city of Austin, TX. All the information you need to know to start working on your film is listed on this site.
Attention OCFF film makers!!!!! Traditionally the theme for films being submitted for OCFF has been “off-centered.” This year the panel of Dogfish and Alamo judges wanted to give you a little direction (no pun intended). The theme for the 2012 OCFF is “WESTERN, OFF-CENTERED”. This can still be interpreted however the director sees fit, but be prepared to defend yourself in the court of public opinion when people say, "That's too on centered! There's nothing Western at all!" Of course a lot of the usual OCFF requirements still apply (be sure to read through all the rules on this website); 5 minutes or less, director must be 21 years of age, must have Dogfish product placement and/or mention, etc. So….get out there and shoot that movie!!!
